The foundation of our Company was established in the mid-1950s by a pair of visionary skiers whose lifelong dream was to build a ski resort like no other. Pete Seibert and Earl Eaton realized the potential for world-class ski areas as they trekked through the Vail Valley, surveying land that would eventually become Vail Mountain.

Today, Vail Resorts is best known for our portfolio of premier mountain resorts: Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone in Colorado and the Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood in the Lake Tahoe area of California and Nevada.
