When the snow melts, the mountain transforms into a thrilling downhill mountain bike park - the largest lift-served mountain bike park in northern California. Keeps Getting Better

Northstar Resort is entering into a new exciting era with the recent purchase by Vail Resorts in October 2010. Expect a greatly enhanced guest experience both on the mountain and in the village as the resort undergoes a $30 million capital improvement plan for the 2011-2012 season. Plans include the installation of a new high-speed chairlift, expanded gladed terrain, additional ski trails, a new on-mountain restaurant, new national retail outlets and a signature restaurant in the Village at Northstar™.
